The Alchemy Pure Story

Alchemy Pure was founded by Chris Regan and Jerry Peele, neighbors in Millerton, New York, for over 15 years. Chris started Sky Farm Lettuce in 1998, supplying hand-crafted salad greens to high-end restaurants across the Hudson Valley. Jerry purchased a run-down dairy farm in 2003 and built it into Herondale Farm, a mixed livestock operation known for grass-fed beef, lamb, and pasture-raised poultry. When New York opened hemp licensing in 2018, they were among the first to apply.

Their transition from hemp to adult-use cannabis was natural. Years of working with soil, understanding microclimates, and respecting seasonal rhythms gave them a foundation that most newcomers to cannabis cultivation simply don’t have. The name “Alchemy Pure” speaks to their belief that great cannabis is a transformation: sun, soil, water, and time turning seed into something extraordinary.
